East Africa makes strides on HIV+, TB patients

Four out of five East African countries (Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi) exceeded the 85% target on treating HIV Positive TB patients in 2012 according to the World Health Organization 2013 report.

The other countries that exceeded the target include Angola, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, India, Lesotho, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, Zambia, Ethiopia, and Nigeria.
